A barn in Uderns with foundations from the 13th century, the well-known name of the Zillertal and the very active tourist area in the heart of Europe form the basis for an international team headed by Bernadette Abendstein and Hakon Hirzenberger, who are professional in all areas.

Her credo is to capture themes of the time and to prepare them theatrically. It all started in 2004 with a vision. The organizers at the time wanted to set up a cultural festival in the small community of Stumm in the Zillertal. Regional and national artists should meet in the summer months to inspire the audience together. In the meantime, the festival mute screaming has not only established itself, but is also considered a fixture in the Tyrolean cultural summer and attracts numerous spectators from all over the country to the front Zillertal.
For us, mute scream is a piece of homeland love, a proud attempt to present our culture.
